Does it shimmer, glimmer, or shine? If the answer is yes, I add it to my cart!
Yes, I’m a huge fan of sparkly, shiny paper for card making. So, of course, I ordered Stampin’ Up!’s Glimmer 12 x 12 Specialty Paper from the July-December 2022 Mini Catalog and played with it last week.
I think it pairs well with the Twinkling Lights Dies and the Lights Aglow 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper.
Don’t you just love the green glimmer paper used on the card above? I used that for the tree and vanilla for the snow.
Stampin’ Up!’s Gold Foil also works well with the die cut Christmas tree from the Twinkling Lights Dies.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog today! I hope you’re inspired to begin creating your own handmade holiday cards.

I’m having so much fun with my Christmas in July installments for 2022! It’s fun getting a jumpstart on making those handmade holiday cards while playing with brand-new paper crating products.
Today’s card features the Twinkling Lights Dies (found on page 32 of Stampin’ Up!’s July-December 2022 Mini Catalog), Lights Aglow 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper, and the Glimmer 12 x 12 Specialty Paper. (I just love this glimmer paper, and it’s gorgeous when die cut with the Christmas tree from the dies.)
In addition to all of the above, it’s a fun fold card: an easel card. Think of all the different stamp sets and patterned paper you could use with this design.
Here’s a side view of the easel fold.

When I purchase a brand-new suite of paper crafting products from Stampin’ Up!, I work with it intensely. I try to create as many card samples as possible with it. So, I recently dug into the new Sun Prints Suite Collection found in Stampin’ Up!’s 2022-2023 Annual Catalog.
I admit I was a little stumped on how to use the round floral image in the Natural Prints Dies. It screams wreath, and I experimented with turning it into a holiday wreath and creating Christmas cards.
I also used Stampin’ Up!’s Christmas to Remember stamp set and a label from the Seasonal Label Dies.
This card features Gold Foil, gold heat embossing, with the sentiment from the Peaceful Deer stamp set.
Be sure to watch the video to see how these cards are created.
