Greetings of the Season New Year

The bulk of the holiday celebrations are behind us. Perhaps you finished your handmade Christmas cards. Perhaps you didn’t. Either way, have you thought about sending a new year’s card? I’m thinking you could design, create, and send these well into the month of January. I know I have and plan to!

Stampin’ Up! carries just the products to make this a reality. Today, I share a new year’s card that uses Stampin’ Up!’s Greetings of the Season stamp set and the Season of Green & Gold Specialty Designer Series Paper. I seriously love all of the gold accents in the patterned paper. Find both of these as Online Exclusives.

In addition, I modeled the card layout using the sketches on page 22 of Stampin’ Up!’s Annual Catalog. This great layout works with a variety of stamp sets, papers, and sentiments. Be sure to look for other samples below.

Merriest Trees with Embossed Glimmer

A few weeks ago, Stampin’ Up! CEO Sara Douglass shared a cool technique on her Facebook page: heat embossing on glimmer paper. I don’t have the products she used, but I wanted to try it. It’s just so fun, and, well, glittery! It really packs a wow!

Today, I share the card I created using Stampin’ Up!’s Merriest Trees Stamp Set, Merriest Trees Dies, and the Berry Burst, Old Olive, and White 12 x 12 Specialty Glimmer Paper. Find the Merriest Trees Stamp Set and coordinating dies in Stampin’ Up!’s 2024-2025 Annual Catalog.

Currently, Stampin’ Up! offers four different packages of glimmer paper. That gives you a whole slate of choices to try this technique yourself. And, you may have some glimmer paper in your stash.

Pocket Thoughts Dies for Christmas

Pocket Thoughts Dies for Christmas

Hello, stampers! This is my last post celebrating Christmas in July. I’m kind of sad! I’ve been having so much fun with Stampin’ Up!’s Greetings of the Season Bundle and the gorgeous Season of Green & Gold 12 x 12 Specialty Designer Series Paper. Seriously, this paper is amazing with its gold foil sheets and gold accents. And, the stamp set offers a mix-and-match approach, where you can “build” exactly what you want to say.

Find these new offerings on my online store by clicking here

Season of Green Gold patterned paper

Today, I add Stampin’ U!’s Pocket Thoughts Dies to the mix. This three-die set allows you to add pockets on your card — on front or in the middle — to hold gift cards or tags with messages.

I created two separate cards using the patterned paper, but experimented with Night of Navy and Gold Foil. Which is your favorite?
