Join

During SaleABration, Stampin’ Up! is offering two great join specials.

  1. Get $125 worth of product PLUS the Stampin’ Glass Mat Studio (a $60 value) for just $99 + tax. Shipping is included.
  2. Get $125 worth of product PLUS an additional $30 worth of product of your choice when you join for $99 + tax. Shipping is included.

I have the Glass Mat Studio and absolutely love it. Here are some things to know about it.

Top Ten Reasons You Need the Glass Mat Studio

  1. The tempered glass provides a solid stamping surface that works for both photopolymer and cling stamps.
  2. Grid lines make it easy to line up stamps for placing on the blocks.
  3. Imprinted grid lines help you align your card stock.
  4. Use the glass surface for techniques such as blending, water coloring, and more. Use the included shammy for easy clean up.
  5. There’s space to write notes off on the side.
  6.  Non-slip surface helps hold the die cut machine in place while using (both large and small machine).
  7. It’s heat resistant for heat embossing.
  8. Holds masks in place with washi tape or Post It Notes.
  9. Larger background stamps stay in place and works great for inking and stamping with paper on top.
  10.  Brayer works well on this hard glass surface.
  11. Ideal for the reflection stamping technique.
  12. Perfect for stamping off.
  13. Adhesives can be cleaned off easily with shammy.

After joining, you receive a minimum discount of 20 percent on your future purchases as long as you stay active. You’re not required to host parties, workshops, or classes. I know you’ll be so excited about the product you’ll want to share with your friends.

Click here to begin the joining process. Please contact me if you have questions or need more information.

Sweet Candy Canes Samples

Sweet Candy Canes Samples

I love being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator! One of the perks is being able to preorder products from new catalogs a month before the catalog goes live. My first purchase from the July-December 2022 Mini Catalog was the Sweet Candy Canes Bundle and the Sweetest Christmas 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper. Find them on pages 8 and 9 of the catalog. Click here to see a PDF of the catalog.

Sweet Candy Canes Samples

For the card above, I paired the Sweet Candy Canes stamp set and coordinating Candy Canes Dies with a SaleABration item: the Silver and Gold 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper. During SaleABraiton months, July and August, earn free, exclusive stamp sets, dies, and Designer Series Paper with minimum purchases of $50 and $100. (See something you like? Make sure to order before it’s gone. Supplies are limited.) Click here to see a PDF of the SaleABration brochure.

I heat embossed the candy canes with gold embossing powder, die cut them, and added them to a Basic White cardstock panel cut with the Deckled Rectangle Dies. Embellish with ribbon and jewels, and you have created an elegant, handmade greeting card.

Sweetest Christmas 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper

The card above showcases the Sweetest Christmas Designer Series Paper. I die cut the candy canes directly from the patterned paper and layered them on different panels of the paper. It makes for another quick and easy holiday card.

Sweet Candy Canes Merry and Bright

Here’s another example of a quick, cute, card. Stamp the candy canes with Real Red ink, die cut, and layer on a piece of the festive Designer Series Paper. Hint: Use a Stamparatus so you can restamp the candy canes to achieve deep, red images.

Sweet Candy Canes Peekaboo Bags

Here, I paired the Sweet Candy Canes stamp set with Stampin’ Up!’s Peekaboo Treat Bags. I love these bags. See another post here. Use the bags to gift everything from candy to gift cards.

Friendly Hello Pocket Card

Friendly Hello Pocket Card

Just two weeks left of Stampin’ Up!’s SaleABration promotion. Receive your choice of free, exclusive stamp sets and patterned paper packages with minimum purchases of $50 and $100 (before tax and shipping). Click here to see a PDF copy of the SaleABration brochure.

The card featured above uses the Friendly Hello stamp set and Friendly Hello 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper. Get this combo free with a $100 order (before tax and shipping). What a card combination.

I used the components to create a pocket card. Here are some basic directions for creating the pocket card. (Be sure to watch the video below for step-by-step instructions). Read below to see a few more samples of this fun card design.

Friendly Hello Pocket Card

  • Form the base with a piece of Pool Party card stock that measures 11 x 4 1/4 inches. Score at 1 1/4 inches and 5 1/2 inches.
  • Round the edges with the Detailed Trio Punch.
  • Fold the card in half, and then fold the small piece down toward you.
  • Adhere a piece of the patterned paper measuring 4 x 3 inches to the bottom. Glue another design measuring 1 4 x 4 inches on the small flap.
  • With Tear and Tape, as close to each edge as possible. form the pocket. Tape the small flap down.
  • Decorate with any stamp sets, dies, and inks you like. For this card, I stamped the Hello Friend sentiment in Memento Ink and die cut with a shape from the Tasteful Labels Dies. Add embellishments such as ribbons and jewels.
  • Card insert: Colored, coordinating card stock border piece measures 5 x 3 inches and the Basic White measures 3 3/4 x 2 3/4 inches.

Catching Butterflies Pocket Card

This pocket card uses two additional free SaleABration products: Catching Butterflies stamp set and Simply Marbelous 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper.

Daffodil Afternoon Pocket Card

The above card uses the free SaleABration Daffodil Afternoon 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper and the medium daisy punch. Sentiment comes from the Catching Butterflies SaleABration stamp set.

Sunshine & Rainbows Pocket Card

Another pocket card. This one uses the free SaleABation Sunshine & Rainbows 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper. The sentiment comes from the Special Moments stamp set (free during SaleABration with a $100 order before tax and shipping).

Textures & Frames Hinge-Step Stamping

Textures & Frames Hinge-Step Stamping

Be sure to take advantage of Stampin’ Up!’s SaleABration promotion. Receive free, exclusive stamp sets, Designer Series Paper packs, and dies with minimum purchases. The sale ends September 30, 2021. That’s about two weeks away. Who doesn’t love free?

A couple of the offerings coordinate with holiday and winter themes and stamp sets. While you may not be in the mood for holiday crafting now, this promotion offers the perfect opportunity for you to save money on your future crafting.

For the last several months, I’ve been playing with all of the free offerings. I try to make as many cards (as time allows) with the sets, papers, and dies. The Textures & Frames photopolymer stamp set (free with a $50 purchase before tax and shipping), lends itself to a variety of background stamp techniques. See this post for a host of other card examples.

Stampin' Up! Textures & Frames

Today’s card uses the Stamparatus, Stampin’ Up!’s stamp positioning tool, to create a fun background for a bright and cheery birthday card. The Stamparatus sells for $49. Add some adhesive or card stock to your order, and you can choose the Textures & Frames stamp set (or any of the other level one choices — free).

Textures & Frames Hinge-Step Stamping

The video below shows how I created this multi-color background with one of the design images from the set. The “candles” use another of the images; I added rhinestones to act as the flames on the candles. I created the different color candles by applying ink from Stampin’ Up!’s Stampin’ Write markers directly to the stamp. The birthday sentiments comes from the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. If you live near Mesa, Arizona, I teach stamping classes and host other fun events. Contact me for more details.
