Cheers to Ten Years

Ten years ago, I began my foray into the direct sales world. Like most others, I bought Stampin’ Up!’s starter kit because it was on sale. I thought: Why not? It seemed like a good deal. I loved the product. Its color coordination and superior quality made it easy to be successful. Getting stamping and paper crafting supplies at a discount appealed to me. I planned to feed my hobby with new goodies. It wasn’t going to be a forever thing.

I thoroughly enjoyed sharing my love of rubber stamping with others. Soon, I taught classes, attended craft shows, and made greeting cards to sell. I traveled to Salt Lake City, Utah, to my first Stampin’ Up! demonstrator gathering. And, I was hooked. I remember walking into the packed convention hall, goosebumps tickling my arms, as the home office employees gave the demonstrators an ovation. All I could say was, “Wow!”

Ten years later, I’m celebrating a milestone anniversary as a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator. It’s given me the opportunity to make solid friendships, travel to to different locales, and meet people from throughout the world. Most of all, I’ve experienced the joy of creating something handmade and blessing others with the end product. I love the saying: A handmade card is like a hug with a fold in the middle.

Cheers to Ten Years

What makes me continue to work as a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator?

I love:

  • the satisfaction of creating something with my own two hands!
  • seeing the joy on other peoples’ faces when they create something with rubber stamps, ink, and paper.
  • being a part of Stampin’ Up!, a company that first and foremost cares about people.
  • the opportunity to preorder and play with new products.
  • a chance to attend events, learn new techniques, and improve my business practices
  • putting a smile on someone’s face when they find a handmade card in the mailbox.

A special thank you to my family who has supported me in my efforts. (They never get to eat at the dining room table because it’s always covered with a multitude of projects.)

Thank you to my awesome team! I wouldn’t be where I am today without this great  group of women.

And, to my customers and friends: you make it all worthwhile. Thank you for thinking of me when you choose a demonstrator.

FYI: Just two days left to take advantage of my special offer in honor of my anniversary. Receive a free gift when you place an order of any size from my online store. (Please, one per customer.)

Team Card Swap

To showcase the products, my team, Kim’s Paper Krafters, participated in a recent card swap. What’s a card swap? Each participant commits to designing and making a card using Stampin’ Up! products. We create enough cards so every swapper gets one. We then exchange our creations. This is a great way to get a variety of samples to use for our own inspiration or to share great ideas with customers.

My team members amaze me with their creativity! It’s so fun to see the stamp sets people choose and the way in which they combine a range of elements. I hope you enjoy seeing this live view of our team’s creations. Please contact me if you need additional details about any of the cards you see! (See the details on my swap card here.)

Would you like an opportunity to participate in an event like this with other demonstrators? To become a part of Stampin’ Up! and Kim’s Paper Krafters, purchase Stampin’ Up!’s Starter Kit. For $99 + tax (shipping is free), choose $125 worth of any product. Yes, that’s anything you want up to $125. And, right now, you can add preorder items from the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog (formerly the Holiday Catalog).

You’re not required to host parties or workshops. Just enjoy your discount and have fun making something that means something with rubber stamps, ink, and paper.

Being a demonstrator helps you become part of a group of creative people who love to paper craft. It also gives you a chance to attend Stampin’ Up! events (online gatherings for now) and get inspiration from demonstrator-only Facebook groups.

Here’s a link to start the application process. Be sure to have your wish list ready as well as your social security number, and payment information. Please let me know if you have questions.
