Welcome to Team Stamp It’s September Blog Hop! We’re glad you joined us. This month, we feature fall and Halloween cards and projects. Look for a list of all participants at the end of this post. Be sure to visit each one and leave a comment with the hashtag #stampitcontest. You could win a Cozy & Bright Card Kit.
Season of Chic for Fall
It’s easy to invest in a stamp set or bundle when you know it’s versatile. You’ll love Stampin’ Up!’s Season of Chic stamp set and Chic Dies (buy the as a bundle and save 10 percent) for that reason. The set includes images (and coordinating die cuts) for all four seasons. Its sentiments cover the basic greetings you frequently use, such as thank you, thinking of you, and happy birthday. Find it in Stampin’ Up!’s 2022-2023 Annual Catalog.
Click here to see a post and video with an idea for another fall card and treat box using this bundle.
In addition to the Season of Chic Bundle, this card features a fun fold (Open Panel Card) and uses the Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper and the sentiment from the Lovely You stamp set. Look below to see what the inside looks like.
It’s a great fold that works with a variety of stamp sets and patterned papers. I used this layout for my team mystery stamping event. It was so fun to see what everyone designed. Click here to view a YouTube video showing how this open panel card is created.

Do you hate fussy cutting (cutting images by hand)? Would you rather use a coordinating die cut image? You’re in luck! Stampin’ Up! recently released six new die cut sets that coordinate with existing stamp sets in both the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog and the July-December 2022 Mini Catalog. These new offerings are only available through September 30 (or while supplies last). So be sure to shop get what you want. See all of the selections offered during the Perfect Partners promotion in the online store by clicking here. Purchase the stamp set and dies as a bundle and save 10 percent.
Trimming the Tree Sample
The card featured above uses the Trimming the Tree stamp set and the brand-new coordinating Tree Trimming Dies. Find this set on page 43 of Stampin’ Up!’s Annual Catalog. I think you’ll love the dies for the sentiments and the framelits for the trees.
In addition to the stamp set and new dies, I used:
Lights Aglow 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper
Festive Foils 12 x 12 Specialty Paper
Evening Evergreen 3/8″ Open Weave Ribbon
Stylish Shapes Dies
Layering Circles Dies
Champagne Rhinestone Jewels
This design is so versatile. Try it with other Designer Series Papers. The panels are cut at 3 3/4 inches x 1 5/8 inches.

Sometimes, you need a quick gift box for a last-minute gift. Keep some of Stampin’ Up!’s Kraft Gift Boxes on hand. (Find them on page 140 of Stampin’ Up!’s 2022-2023 Annual Catalog.) You receive ten of them for $10. During SaleABration — now through August 31, 2002, receive a package free with a $50 order.
They’re very easy to assemble. Watch the video below for a quick visual.
They’re large enough to hold full-size cards and envelopes as well as other small gifts. And, you can decorate them any way you want to match the gift or the holiday for which you’re giving. Or, don’t decorate them at all; they have a peekaboo window to showcase what’s inside. Adorn with a ribbon and a gift tag, and you’re good to go!

When I first “spotted” it in the catalog, Stampin’ Up!’s Dots and Spots Die intrigued me! (Find it on page 170 of Stampin’ Up!’s 2022-2023 Annual Catalog.) It’s the large die that creates the dotted background seen in the card above.
It normally sells for $32, but beginning today (August 2, 2022), earn it free with a $100 order before shipping and tax. Yes, Stampin’ Up! has added to its SaleABration options. Click here to see the original brochure. (Please note: These are available while supplies last. The Soft Seafoam and Pool Party Notecards and Tree Lot Dies have already sold out. So, if there’s something you want, I encourage you to get it sooner rather than later.)
New SaleABration Offerings
Here’s a graphic that shows the other options now available. SaleABration means your choice of free products for minimum orders of $50 and $100 before tax and shipping.
Back to today’s card! The Dots and Spots Die makes a great background or you can use it as a stencil. I played around with it and created a few cards, sharing one of them — in a couple of different color combinations — with you today.
This card also uses Stampin’ Up!’s Sunny Splash stamp set from Stampin’ Up!’s Annual Catalog. I’m drawn to the bright and cheery colors of Melon Mambo, Pool Party, and Mango Melody. I switched them around to create different versions of the same card.

Does it shimmer, glimmer, or shine? If the answer is yes, I add it to my cart!
Yes, I’m a huge fan of sparkly, shiny paper for card making. So, of course, I ordered Stampin’ Up!’s Glimmer 12 x 12 Specialty Paper from the July-December 2022 Mini Catalog and played with it last week.
I think it pairs well with the Twinkling Lights Dies and the Lights Aglow 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper.
Don’t you just love the green glimmer paper used on the card above? I used that for the tree and vanilla for the snow.
Stampin’ Up!’s Gold Foil also works well with the die cut Christmas tree from the Twinkling Lights Dies.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog today! I hope you’re inspired to begin creating your own handmade holiday cards.
