I created my first Split Triangle card design in May of 2024. Sometimes, I like to bring these different layouts back and incorporate fresh, new products.
This suite includes a lot of fun, new product to celebrate love and Valentine’s Day.
Measurements
Thick Basic White cardstock measuring 11 x 4 1/4, scored and folded at 5 1/2
Bubble Bath cardstock measuring 4 1/4 x 3 1/4
Made with Love 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper measuring 4 x 3
Instructions
Place your DSP in the Paper Trimmer at a diagonal. Line up the top right point and the bottom left point with the cutting track. Cut the paper in half on this diagonal, creating two triangles.
Cut the Bubble Bath cardstock in the same manner.
Adhere the DSP to the Bubble Bath cardstock pieces. There is a small border around the DSP. The Multipurpose Liquid Glue works best. It gives you a few seconds to be sure the pieces are where you want them.
Glue one triangle on the top left corner of the card base and another in the bottom right, leaving room to stamp the sentiment.
Stamp the sentiment with Real Red ink on a diagonal in the space between the triangles.
For reference, watch this YouTube video from 2024 to see how a Split Triangle is created.
