Here are a few details/features of my card:

  • I used Stampin’ Up! Silver Foil Sheets to die cut the gears piece. It makes such a great background.
  • I embossed the Night of Navy Card Stock with the Sublte Embossing Folder before using the Stitched Rectangle Framelits to create a frame.
  • I used a piece of the 6 x 6 Daffodil Delight Designer Series Paper (available in the Brights Collection package) as a background paper.
  • I used Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends to color the car.
  • The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Greetings. It’s punched with the Classic Label Punch and then trimmed to fit in the corner.
  • I finished the card off with a piece of Night of Navy Baker’s Twine.

So Long to Lovely as a Tree

Stampin' Up! Lovely as a Tree

Stampin’ Up! Lovely as a Tree

Hello Stampers!

Did you know Stampin’ Up!’s Lovely as a Tree stamp set has been in the catalog since 2001. It’s been available longer than any other stamp set. But that longevity is coming to an end. When the new catalog debuts June 4, Lovely as a Tree, sadly, won’t be available for purchase. It is retiring! Be sure to put this on your wish list!

It is such a versatile stamp set that can be used for many occasions, including holidays. Here, I’ve used it as a birthday card, and could definitely be geared toward the men in our lives.

I’ve also used the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper (I’m sorry, but this is sold out) and the sentiment from Itty Bitty Greetings.

Thanks for stopping by today. To purchase the stamp set, look for the icons below. Click on any of them to be taken directly to my online store where you can shop 24/7.

Please let me know if you have questions about this card, the art of rubber stamping, or any other products.

My tropical escape continues with this fun card using Stampin’ Up!’s 6 x 6 Tropical Escape Designer Series Paper (hint: this paper is retiring, so stock up if you like it!) and the Tropical Chic Bundle. The sentiment comes from the Perennial Birthday set which will be around for the new catalog.

Happy May Day!

Stampin' Up! May Baskets

Stampin’ Up! May Baskets

Hello Stampers!

Do any of you remember May Day? Did you bring treat baskets to the neighbors’ houses, ring the bell, and run? I’m not sure if anyone even does that anymore! I’ve made these for a class and have a few leftover for our neighbors. I’ll ring the bell, but I probably won’t run!

I used Stampin’ Up!’s Sweet Cups available in the Occasions Catalog. You get ten cups for $8.50. These will be retiring, so you’ll want to grab a package a two. They’re very fun to decorate for a variety of occasions. A couple of months ago, I made one for dog treats. See that post here.

I added a handle using a strip of Pineapple Punch card stock measuring 8 1/2 inches by 3/4 inches. I glued that strip to the inside of the cup using Tombow Glue. The Happiness Blooms Designer Series Paper worked well for the May Day theme. I used the template provided by Stampin’ Up! I’d love to send one via email, if you’re interested. Then, just fill and deliver!

Thanks for stopping by today. Happy May Day! To see a list of products used, scroll to the bottom of this post. Each photo takes you directly to my online store where you can shop 24/7.
