Timeless Tulips Easter Card
For me, after growing up in North Dakota and Minnesota, the tulips poking out of the ground signaled the beginning of spring. (I love tulips, but the hot Arizona weather doesn’t support these beautiful flowers.)
Please note: The current edition of Stampin’ Up!’s Annual Catalog retires May 2, 2022. To make room for new products, some current items retire. This includes the Timeless Tulips Stamp Set, on sale for $14.40. The Tulip Builder Punch carries over into the new catalog. Be sure to click this link to see which products are retiring and which are offered at a discount.
This card also uses:
Smoky Slate and Magenta Madness color scheme, with Garden Green accents. (Magenta Madness is a 2020-2022 In Color. It and its coordinating products retire soon.)
Magenta Madness In Color 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper Assortments
Stitched Rectangle Dies
Layering Circles Dies
Pattern Party Designer Series Paper
Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder
2020-2022 In Color Square Gems
Thanks so much for visiting my blog and hopping along with Team Stamp It. Remember to comment on each post. You could win the Whale Done Stamp Set and Whale Punch.
I’ve created an Art Gallery Easter card for today’s Team Stamp It’s Blog Hop.
Thanks for joining us today! As members of Team Stamp It, we’re sharing a great variety of Easter cards and projects. Be sure to visit all of the blogs on the hop. Leave a comment with the hashtag #stampitcontest. It gives you a chance to win a Here’s to You Card Kit.
Art Gallery Easter Card
My card uses products from Stampin’ Up!’s Art Gallery Suite. Find it beginning on page 32 of Stampin’ Up!’s January-June 2021 Mini Catalog. It features a 5 1/4″ x 4″ inch piece of the Golden Garden Specialty Acetate. This gold foiling is just gorgeous. You get three different designs of this acetate for $9. I feel this acetate and the design below works well with any of Stampin’ Up!’s colors. The Flirty Flamingo provides a pretty, pastel background that, to me, says Easter and spring.
Other products used include:
Stitched So Sweetly Dies
Sentiment from the A Wish for Everything stamp set
Flirty Flamingo and Old Olive Classic Stampin’ Pads
Linen Thread
To achieve the dimensional look on this card, I first stamped the base flower (stamping off once) with the Old Olive pad. On a scrap piece of Basic White card stock, I stamped the flower shown (stamping off once) with Flirty Flamingo. I then inked the flower accent with Flirty Flamingo (full strength) and stamped on top of the first image. I die cut it with the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine and carefully snipped off the colored flowers. Using Stampin’ Dimensionals, I adhered the flower heads to the top of the card.
Thanks so much for visiting Kim Plays with Paper today! Be sure to visit all of the blogs and leave a comment to win a free card kit. Congratulations to last month’s winner: Frances Freeberg.

Get Inspired
As crafters and creators, we all experience those days when we need a little inspiration. Maybe you’ve lost your mojo. Perhaps you’re just feeling blah. How do you get inspired to dust off the ink and make a card?
I often reach for Stampin’ Up!’s catalogs, browsing the many pages of samples created by the company’s talented design artists. The inspiration for this card popped out at me from page 32 of the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog. The sample of the 3 x 3 card on the top right-hand corner caught my eye. But I really wanted to create a full-size version. I made a few adjustments, substituted like products for some I don’t have, and there it was.
I’m so excited about how this turned out! Inspired, I’m thinking of ways I can mix these products up with different color combinations and shapes.
Thanks for stopping by today. Please contact me if you have questions about this card or other paper crafting questions. Be sure to visit all of the blogs listed below for more inspiration.
