Get together and stamp with others from around the world during Stampin’ Up!’s World Card Making Day event Saturday, October 1, 2022. This free event will be held virtually from 2 to 5 p.m. Mountain Time. Click here to find more information and get the link to register.
World Card Making Day is all about making beautiful, heartfelt cards. During the event, presenters will walk you through several projects, and you’ll create the cards right along with them. You’ll end up with new project ideas and some stunning new cards. (However, you’re welcome to just watch the presentations, and you’ll be able to access the recording later.)
To make the most of this experience, you can order the Cottage Rose Bundle from the 2022–2023 Annual Catalog, the Cottage Wreaths Bundle from the July–December 2022 Mini Catalog, or the Warm Welcome Bundle, which you can get early from the January–June 2023 Mini Catalog! If you want, you could even order all three bundles.
When you order one of these three bundles: Cottage Rose Bundle, Cottage Wreaths Bundle or Warm Welcome Bundle you’ll get a FREE gift of Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels! Be sure to add item #158987 to get that freebie. Note that even if you order all three bundles, you’ll only receive one Iridescent Pearls gift.)
Warm Welcome Bundle Samples
I have no idea what kind of card Stampin’ Up! will make with this bundle on October 1. So I wanted to see what I could make with it. In this post, I share a few of the samples I created with the Warm Welcome stamp and the Welcome Home Dies. The included sentiments and images work well for a variety of occasions. It’s a perfect bundle to welcome someone to the family, to the neighborhood, to your home, to celebrate birthdays, to say congratulations, and more.
The item number to order is: #160704 and the cost is $50.25 for the bundle.
Warm Welcome Bundle How to Video
I hope you enjoy my samples, and I encourage you to participate in World Card Making Day. If you can’t watch October 1, you’ll be able to access the recording later.

When you’re a crafter, there’s nothing more exciting than creating with brand-new product. During September of 2022, Stampin’ Up! is offering six, brand-new die cut sets that coordinate with current sets in both the Annual Catalog and the July-December 2022 Mini Catalog. It’s called the Perfect Partners promotion, and it runs through September 30. See the graphic below for a look at the stamp sets and their new coordinating dies.
You’re able to purchase the stamp set separately, the die cuts alone, or both as a bundle (and save 10 percent).
Today, I’m sharing a card created with the Trimming the Tree Bundle. I love the dies. They cut the large tree, create two 3D-like trees, and give lots of options for decorating the tree with garland, stars, ribbons, baubles; there’s even a pot for the tree. And, the labels for the sentiments are unique.
This card also uses:
The Lights Aglow 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper
Gold Foil
Wintry 3D Embossing Folder (the evergreen pattern)
Large label from Seasonal Labels Dies
Coordinating colors include Cherry Cobbler, Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent, and Very Vanilla
Red Rhinestone Jewels

Gingham Cottage for Fall
Quick and easy is often the answer when it comes to card making. It helps to make a stack of the same card and have them on hand when the need arises. I think today’s card fits that criteria well.
To create:
stamp leaf from Season of Chic stamp set with So Saffron ink on a So Saffron card base
stamp on a leaf from the Leaf Label and Amber Gem Pack (You may have missed these in the July-December 2022 Mini Catalog. The leaf comes in a package of 25 precut Kraft leaves and 50 gems.)
finish with a bow created with the Gold Shimmer Ribbon.
I also created a matching gift bag.
Thanks so much for visiting today and hopping along with Team Stamp It. Remember to visit all of the blogs. The list is below. Comment with the #hashtag #stampitcontest for a chance to win a Christmas Whimsy Kit.

Instructions:
Stamp the Rays of Light stamp on the front of the Parakeet Party card front with Parakeet Party ink.
Stamp one of the swimsuits from Sunny Splash on the Basic White card stock scrap with Pacific Point ink. Hand cut with Paper Snips Scissors.
Pop this up on a circle cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies using the 2 ½” x 2 ½” inch white card stock. Layer this on a scallop circle cut with the Layering Circles Dies from the 2 ½” x 2 ½” Daffodil Delight card stock.
Die cut the Pacific Point 3” x 2 ¾” card stock with the Dots & Spots Die and adhere to the top portion of the 4 ½” x 3 ¼” Daffodil Delight card stock, leaving a quarter-inch border around the top and sides.
Stamp the “Hello Sunshine” sentiment with Pacific Point ink on the white card stock measuring 3” x 1 ½” (make sure to stamp near the bottom) and attach to the Daffodil Delight card stock, just below the Pacific Points Dots & Spots piece.
Add the DSP on top, covering the seam, as shown above.
Attach this whole piece to the card front.
Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop up the circle on the card front.
Stamp the swimsuit with Pacific Point ink in the lower right corner of the 5 1/4 “ x 4” card stock and adhere to the center of the card.

Are you looking to make some quick, easy, and gorgeous handmade greeting cards? Today’s post features two cards with an accompanying video.
I use Stampin’ Up!’s Splendid Day Stamp Set, the coordinating Splendid Stems Dies (buy them as a bundle and save 10 percent), and the Splendid Day 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper. This paper is just gorgeous, sporting beautiful full page foil designs on one side of the double-sided paper. Find all of these products in Stampin’ Up!’s July-December 2022 Mini Catalog on pages 64 and 65.
The top card uses thin strips of the foil design from the patterned paper. Cut a bunch of these at one time and create multiple cards. Each strip measures 5 inches x 3/4 inches. The coordinating base is Mint Macaron, as is the ink for the sentiment. I used the Double Oval Punch to layer the sentiment and added ribbon.
This second card (above) shows an example of the die stenciling technique. (See this post for another card sample and video.)
