My contribution to the hop is this sparkly Christmas card using pieces from the Reindeer Fun Dies and the Festive 12 x 12 Glimmer Paper.
Do you see the wreath die on the right? Well, the little circle pieces featured in the card above come from the wreath center. I couldn’t let those go to waste!

Sentiment heat embossed with white on the Cherry Cobbler Glimmer paper. Did you know you can heat emboss on Stampin’ Up!’s glimmer paper? What a fun technique.

Cheers to the Season Thankful
If you’re like me, you often appreciate a simple card that’s easy to replicate. That’s why I like the sketch, or design, of this card. The focal point includes one large image in a circle, bookended by two other smaller circles. You could create a handful of these quickly and easily. And, think of the many stamp sets and patterned paper you can add to this layout.
Here are the products I used to create this thankful card:
Cheers to the Season Stamp Set. Gold heat emboss leaf image with gold embossing on Wild Wheat Card Stock. Die cut with largest circle from Stylish Shapes Dies.
Die cut two of the second largest circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies from the 2023-2025 In Color 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper.
Emboss a piece of Pecan Pie Card Stock with the Fall Leaf 3D Embossing Folder (Online Exclusive)
Layer on Wild Wheat Card Stock measuring 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4
Wrap Gold 1/8 Trim (Online Exclusive) around and tie a bow
Add 2023-2025 In Color Dots (Wild Wheat)
I love this stamp set because it covers a range of occasions: fall, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and new year’s day. Think of using the “cheers” image for a birthday card, anniversary card, or event wedding card.
I tried something a little different with the leaf design from the Abundant Beauty Decorative Mask collection. Be sure to watch the video below to see step-by-step instructions for creating this card. It’s a new-to-me heat embossing technique.
Cherry Cobbler card stock measuring 5 1/4 x 1 13/4 lightly taped to the back of the leaf design mask. (Rub card stock with embossing buddy before taping.)
Liberally apply Versamark ink on top of mask, ensuring you have good ink coverage.
Remove card stock from mask. Cover with gold embossing folder, tapping off the excess.
Heat with heat tool, heating all surfaces.
Add to a piece of Very Vanilla card stock measuring 5 1/4 x 4 embossed with a folder from the Basics 3D Embossing Folders. Add a strip (1/4 x 5 1/4) of Gold Foil adjacent to the embossed piece.
On a Very Vanilla square die cut with the largest square from the Stylish Shapes Dies, stamp the leaf image from Cheers to the Season in Cherry Cobbler ink.
Pop up on card front with dimensionals.
Add gold Simply Elegant Trim and gold sequins from the Neutrals Adhesive-Backed Sequins.
Card base is Cherry Cobbler cut a 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4
I think this is a super fun heat embossing technique that adds a lot to the card. It also give you another way to use the decorative mask. I look forward to trying it with the snowflake mask in that collection.

Do you like to stretch the limits of a bundle? If you’re like me, you love it when you can use a stamp set and the coordinating dies for more than one reason. The Ginkgo Branch Bundle has been on my craft table for the last couple of weeks. Initially, it looks as if it’s geared only toward thinking of you and sympathy cards. And, it works great for that. Click here to see a post that showcases three of these cards using this bundle.
But I’ve also used it to create birthday cards. See another example here. And, today, I share a free birthday card tutorial featuring the Ginkgo Branch Bundle. Please enjoy the step-by-step instructions for creating this gorgeous, handmade birthday card.
