Do you give gift cards as gifts? If so, you need a way to package them! In today’s post, I share an idea for a z-fold gift card holder using Stampin’ Up!’s Reindeer Days products.
This fun and festive Reindeer Days Suite Collection features a variety of reindeer-themed stamps, dies, and coordinating products. Although the cute little reindeer pictured above looks like it might be difficult to create, it’s not! Be sure to watch the video below. I show you how quickly this little guy goes together.
(Note: Those cute Peppermint embellishments pictured in the bottom left corner have been super popular and have been in and out of stock since the September-December catalog went live.)

I don’t know the official count of how many days are left until Christmas. But, I do know, I should start to prepare!
Gift cards have become popular present options. And, it’s nice to have a fun wrapping mechanism for them. A look at Pinterest shows so many gift card holders in an array of designs. Today, I show you one of those: a pop-up gift card holder.
Here’s what the inside looks like:
Here are a few measurements to help you get started:
Real Red card stock measuring 4 1/4 x 10, Score at 2, 5, 6, and 7, 1 inch x 7 inches
For the sentiment, I used the Season’s Greetings from the Greetings of the Season stamp set. I die cut it with a circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies and layered it on Real Red and Garden Green circles.

When you don’t know what to get someone for Christmas, the go-to is usually to purchase gift cards. So it’s nice to have a fun and festive way to “wrap” those gift cards.
Today, I share a fun fold gift card holder that uses Stampin’ Up!’s Cheers to the Season stamp set and the A Walk in the Forest 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper. (Just a couple of quick notes: The Cheers to the Season stamp set is being retired and is on sale for $17.20. The A Walk in the Forest DSP is also being retired, and is available while supplies last. Click here to visit Stampin’ Up!’s online store to see what’s being retired and what’s discounted from the September-December 2023 Mini Catalog. Be sure to grab what you want before it’s gone. I don’t want you to be disappointed if something goes out of stock.)

Although we give gift cards for many occasions such as birthdays, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and anniversaries, Christmas rates as the prime gift card season. I know I have quite a few on my gift-giving list.
So, as paper crafters, we need something fun and decorative in which to give the gift card. In today’s post, I show you how to create one example of a Christmas-themed gift card holder.
In the past, I’ve made a variety of other designs. See the inks below for a few other ideas:
Stampin’ Up!’s Framed & Festive Stamp Set. This stamp set is part of a special release of the Fitting Florets Collection. The set itself is only available while supplies last or January 4, 2023. I love the sentiments and the fonts in this set. Be sure to grab it while it’s still available.
Santa Express 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper. Find this on page 17 of Stampin’ Up!’s July-December 2022 Mini Catalog. Though this double-sided, patterned paper coordinates with the Santa’s Delivery Bundle, the simple patterns draw me to this package, like the sheet I used on this gift card holder. Isn’t it festive?
The picture below shows the inside of the gift card holder.
Be sure to watch the video below (a Facebook live replay) that demonstrates how this gift card holder comes together.
