Gathering Together Gift Bag

Gathering Together Gift Bag

It’s not a secret that my favorite patterned-paper-of-the-moment is Stampin’ Up!s Gathering Together 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper. I love the foil accents and the rich fall colors. And, I love that I get a chance to use my Cajun Craze card stock.

I made these for a team gathering with different papers and belly bands, adorned with a Gold Foil leaf embossed with the Gathering Leaves Embossing Folder.

I’ve used this Designer Series Paper in a number of projects throughout the last month.

Thoughtful Moments Hello Card

Thoughtful Moments Hello Card

Card making doesn’t have to be difficult! Stampin’ Up! offers a lot of ways to make creating easy. With today’s card, I feature the Thoughtful Moments Hybrid Embossing Folder, a folder with a coordinating die that cuts ten sentiments with one crank of the die cut machine. Have these sentiments on hand for whenever you need them. Or, make a quick stack of cards, all ready to send out.

For the focal piece, the leaf, I used a leftover leaf (Gathering Moments Dies), from this card I created earlier in the week. Click here to see that post and a coordinating video.

Details and Measurements

  • Early Espresso cardstock base measuring 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4
  • Gathering Together 12 x 12 Specialty Designer Series Paper pattern measuring 5 1/4 x 4
  • Die cut leaf in Early Espresso, dry embossed with the Gathering Leaves Embossing Folder
  • Hello sentiment die cut with Gold Foil with the Thoughtful Moments Hybrid Embossing Folder.
  • Adhesive-Backed Metallic Gems

And, that’s it. It’s that simple. And, I think it’s a gorgeous card with the foil accents.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog today! Please let me know if you have questions about this card or any other stamping projects. I’m happy to help!

Today, I share a fun fold I’ve used with other stamp sets and papers. The fun fold is easy to replicate, and it really is a fun fun fold. Here’s how the card looks when it’s open.

Gathering Moments Fun Fold

Measurements and Details

  • Early Espresso cardstock base measuring 4 1/4 x 11. Scored at 2 3/4 and 5 1/2. Click here to watch a YouTube video showing how this fun fold card is created with different papers and a stamp set.
  • Gathering Together Designer Series Paper: Three pieces measuring 4 x 2 1/2 each. Use all of the same design or mix and match. Don’t you just love the champagne foil accents in this patterned paper?
  • Basic White 4 x 2 1/2. Write your message on this piece.
  • Die cut maple leaf from one of the neutral designs from the Designer Series Paper
  • Sponge Cajun Craze around the leaf edges. Stamp sentiment (Gathering Moments) with Cajun Craze directly on leaf.
  • Cajun Craze & Gold Dolt
  • Early Espresso linen thread

This really is a fun and easy fun fold! I hope you try to at home. Please let me know if you have questions about this card or any other stamping project.
