Pick of the Patch Bendy Card

Stampin' Up! Pick of the Patch Bundle

Are you ready to craft for fall, Halloween, winter, Christmas, and more? You’re in luck! Stampin’ Up!’s September-December 2023 Mini Catalog is now live! It’s filled with an array of brand-new stamp sets, dies, embossing folders, punches, Designer Series Paper and much more.

Today, I’m using some of these products for my fun bendy fold card. I use the Pick of the Patch Bundle which includes the Pick of the Patch Stamp Set and the coordinating Pick of the Patch Builder Punch. Find them on page 51 of this brand-new catalog. Purchase them as a bundle and save 10 percent. (If you love this, be sure to order sooner rather than later. In recent releases, our punches have sold quickly.) I also use the Them Bones 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper.

Pick of the Patch Bendy Card

For today’s hop, I created a Christmas card using Stampin’ Up!’s Snow Crystal background stamp with sentiments from the Brightest Glow stamp set. Both are available in Stampin’ Up!’s Annual Catalog. This is also a fun fold — an easel card. This style makes it super fun and easy to display your cards at the holidays (or any other time!).

Here are some measurements to help you get started.

  • Thick Basic White Base measuring 11 x 4 1/2, scored at 5 1/2 and 2 3/4
  • Basic White layer measuring 5 1/4 x 4
  • Gray Granite measuring 5 x 3 3/4 and 5 1/4 x 4 embossed with a design from the Basics 3D Embossing Folders (Online Exclusives)
  • Basic White measuring 4 3/4 x 3 1/2
  • Snow Crystal background stamp and sentiments embossed with Silver Embossing Powder

Circle Sayings Fourth of July

When you’re a card maker, you don’t need a reason to get into your craft room and make a card. But when there’s a holiday, any holiday, us creators get into gear. And we even send cards to celebrate the Fourth of July. I found it fun to try to make an Independence Day card with the supplies I have on hand.

Circle Sayings Fourth of July

For this patriotic card, I grabbed a variety of current Stampin’ Up! products, including:

  • Circle Sayings Bundle
  • Stylish Shapes Dies
  • Beautiful Balloons Dies (big star)
  • Soft Shimmer 12 x 12 Paper Pack (Night of Navy)
  • 2022-2024 In Color Paper Pack (Sweet Sorbet)
  • Wanted to Say Dies (little stars)

Here’s the inside of this fun fold card:

Do you ever fall in love with a stamp set and keep on using it and using it? That’s me! I preordered Stampin’ Up!’s Circle Sayings Bundle in April and have been playing with it ever since. I’ve paired it with different fun folds and different Designer Series Papers. Find the bundle on page 17 of Stampin’ Up!’ 2023-2024 Annual Catalog. Bright & Beautiful VW Fun Fold

Bright & Beautiful VW Fun Fold

Today, I combine the fun new Bright & Beautiful 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper with the VW fun fold. (Purchase this double-sided, patterned paper when Stampin’ Up!’s 2023-2024 Annual Catalog goes live May 2.)

The next photo shows a view from above. Can you see the V and the W? At first, the design seems complicated. But it comes together quite easily.

This next photo shows the inside of the card.

VW Fun Fold

My team member, Sandy Graves, created a VW fun fold card for our recent team meeting. See her card below. Several people asked for directions to make this fold. So here it is!

Use these paper measurements to help you get started. Be sure to watch the video at the end of this post to see step-by-step instructions for creating this.

  • Base card stock: 10″ x 4 1/4 inches scored at 1 1/4, 2 1/2, 3 3/4, and 5
  • Base card stock: 6 x 3, scored at 3
  • Coordinating Designer Series Paper: 4 3/4 x 4, 2 3/4 x 2 3/4, and four pieces measuring 4 x 1
  • Basic White: 3 1/4 x 3 1/4

The front sentiment comes from Go to Greetings and is stamped in Berry Burst ink, punched with the Double Oval Punch. I grabbed the inside sentiment from the brand-new Beautiful Balloons stamp set (available in the new, upcoming Annual Catalog.)
