Simply Zinnia Card Tutorial
Stampin’ Up! Supplies:
- STAMPS – Simply Zinnia (163472), Gorgeously Made (161193)
- PAPER – Petal Pink Cardstock (146985), Old Olive Cardstock (100702), Basic White Cardstock (159276), Flowering Zinnias 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper (DSP) (163469)
- INK – Melon Mambo (147051), Old Olive (147090)
- OTHER – Ribbon Duo Combo Pack (161318), Stylish Shapes Dies (159183), Stampin’ Seal (152813), Mini Glue Dots (103683), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430), Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (149653)
Cutting & Scoring:
- Petal Pink Cardstock – 8 ½” x 5 ½”, scored at 4 ¼” and folded
- Old Olive Cardstock – 5 ½” x 3 ¼”
- Basic White Cardstock – 5 ¼” x 4, 3 ½” x 3 ½”, scrap
- DSP — Melon Mambo zinnia design 4 ¼” x 3”, Flower Design with white 5 ½” x 3
- Ribbon (Petal Pink) – 16”
Instructions:
- Die cut the Basic White 3 ½” x 3 ½” with a circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies. Stamp the zinnia flowers in Melon Mambo on this circle.
- Stamp the Hello sentiment from Gorgeously Made stamp set onto the Basic White scrap in Old Olive ink. Die cut with smallest banner from the Stylish Shapes Dies.
- Add the 5 ½” x 3” DSP to Old Olive panel. Wrap ribbon around this panel and tie a bow.
- Attach all of this to the Petal Pink cardstock base.
- Add the Melon Mambo DSP, arrange it off to the left.
- With Stampin’ Dimensionals, add stamped die cut circle to card front.
- Place the sentiment on the circle with Glue Dots.
- Glue the remaining Basic White Cardstock piece to the middle of the card.

Instructions:
- With the 2” circle from the Everyday Details Dies, die cut a circle from the 2 ¼” x 2 ¼” Basic White Cardstock.
- Stamp the “Happy Valentine’s Day” sentiment from the Country Bouquet stamp set in Real Red ink in the middle of the circle.
- Layer the five strips of DSP on the 5” x 3 34/” Basic White Cardstock.
- Wrap ribbon around this piece and tie a bow.
- With adhesive of choice, attach to Basic White Thick Cardstock base.
- With Stampin’ Dimensionals, pop up the sentiment on card front.
- Color three Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels with the Real Red Stampin’ Blends.
- Add to card front.

I don’t mean to panic you, but the countdown to Christmas is ticking away. But there’s still time to create a few handmade Christmas cards. Especially with this quick and easy layout. It can be adapted to any stamp set and Designer Series Paper. For this card, I used elements from Stampin’ Up! Joy of Christmas Suite Collection including the Joy of Noel Bundle and Joy of Christmas 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper. Find them in Stampin’ Up!’s September-December 2023 Mini Catalog.

Instructions:
- With the second largest circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies, die cut a circle from the 3 x 3” Basic White Cardstock. Stamp the “Noel” sentiment with Real Red ink.
- Stamp the “Joyous” sentiment in the middle of the Noel sentiment with Shaded Spruce ink.
- With the second largest circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies, die cut two circles from each of the DSP squares.
- Emboss the 5 ¼” x 4” Shaded Spruce Cardstock with the Mery Melody 3D Embossing Folder.
- Glue each DSP circle to Shaded Spruce – aligning one circle to the left and one circle to the right.
- Wrap ribbon around this panel and tie a bow.
- Add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the greeting and place on card front, between the two DSP circles.
- Color three Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels with Dark Real Red Stampin’ Blends Combo Pack. Place on card front.
- Adhere remaining 5 ¼” x 4” Basic White Cardstock to the center of the card.

How are you liking Stampin’ Up!’s Beautiful Balloons Bundle? I find it fun and easy to work with. Look for it beginning on page 14 of the new 2023-2024 Annual Catalog. Today, I share another free tutorial for creating a card with the elements from this suite of products.
Beautiful Balloons Congrats
Stampin’ Up! Supplies:
- STAMPS – Beautiful Balloons Bundle (161457)
- PAPER – Berry Burst Cardstock (144243) Thick Basic White Cardstock (1592296), Basic White Cardstock (159276), Bright & Beautiful 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper (161449)
- INK – Bubble Bath (161664), Berry Burst (147143)
- OTHER – Baker’s Twine Essential Pack (155475), Stampin’ Seal (152813), Mini Glue Dots (103683), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755), Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (149653)
Cutting & Scoring:
- Berry Burst Cardstock – 3 ¼” x 4 ¾”, 4 ¼” x ¾”
- Thick Basic White Cardstock – 8 ½” x 4 ¼”, scored at 4 ¼”
- Basic White Cardstock – 3” x 2”
- DSP – 4 ½” x 3”
- White Bakers’ Twine – 6”
Instructions:
- With the Thick Basic White Cardstock base folded in half, stamp the long ribbon stamp four times, staggering, with the Bubble Bath ink.
- Attach the DSP to the Berry Burst 3 ¼” x 4 ¾” Cardstock. Glue all to card front, centering this piece.
- Die cut the 4 ¼” x ¾” Berry Burst Cardstock with the fringe die. Attach to card front, as shown above.
- Stamp the large balloon image with Bubble Bath ink on the 3” x 2” Basic White Cardstock. Stamp the “You Did It” sentiment directly on top of the balloon with Berry Burst ink.
- Die cut the balloon.
- Using Stamin’ Dimensionals, attach the balloon to the card front on top of the fringe.
- Tie a bow with the White Baker’s Twine and attach it to the balloon with a Glue Dot.

My January calendar shows a ton of birthdays. I need to make a stack of cards and get them in the mail. I pulled out Stampin’ Up’s Blessings of Home stamp set, now available in the January-June 2022 Mini Catalog.

Instructions:
- Die cut the 4 ½” x 3 ¼” piece of Very Vanilla Card Stock with the scallop rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies that measures 4” x 3”.
- Stamp the smaller flower bouquet from the Blessings of Home stamp set onto the above die cut piece with Night of Navy ink.
- Use Stampin’ Seal to adhere this piece to the 4 ¼” x 3” piece of Night of Navy Card Stock.
- Emboss one of the 5 ¼” x 4” piece of Very Vanilla Card Stock with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.
- Fold the Night of Navy base in half and adhere the embossed piece to the front of the card.
- Add the stamped and layered image to the top of the card.
- Stamp the birthday sentiment with Night of Navy ink on the 3 ¾” x ½” Very Vanilla Card Stock.
- Use Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop this up on the card front near the bottom of the card as shown above.
- Color three of the Pear Basic Jewels with the Night of Navy Dark Stampin’ Blends. Add them to the front of the card.
- Stamp a portion of the flower image with Night of Navy ink onto the remaining Very Vanilla Card Stock. Adhere to the center of the card.
