Sometimes I’ll grab an easy layout to help get my crafting mojo going. Today’s card uses a sketch from yesterday’s post. See that card here.

PAPER – Secret Sea Cardstock (165624), Cloud Cover Cardstock (165621), Basic White Cardstock (166780), Lovely Blossoms 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper (167168)
INK – Secret Sea (165285)
OTHER – Lovely Stripes 3D Embossing Folder (167179), 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls (165192), Stylish Shapes Dies (159183), Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack (155475), Stampin’ Seal (152813), Mini Glue Dots (103683), Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (144108), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755), Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (149653)
Cutting & Scoring:
Cloud Cover Cardstock – 8 ½” x 5 ½”, scored and folded at 4 ¼”, 4 ¾” x 3 ½”, and 2 ½” x 1 ½”
Secret Sea Cardstock – 4 7/8” x 3 5/8” and 3” x 3”
DSP – One piece 1” x 4” and two pieces 3 ½” x ¾”
Basic White Cardstock – 4” x 2 ½”
White Baker’s Twine – 7”
Instructions:
Emboss the 4 ¾” x 3 ½” Cloud Cover Cardstock with the Lovely Stripes 3D Embossing Folder. Attach this to the 4 7/8” x 3 5/8” Secret Sea Cardstock. With adhesive of choice, add to Cloud Cover card base.
Attach the DSP pieces as shown: the larger piece in the middle and the smaller two on each side of the larger piece.
Stamp the two flowers with Secret Sea ink on the 4” x 2 ½” Basic White Cardstock. Die cut with coordinating dies.
Die cut the 3” x 3” Secret Sea Cardstock with the second largest circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies.
Add flowers to circle.
With Stampin’ Dimensionals, pop up circle on card front.
Stamp “Happy Birthday” sentiment on 2 ½” x 1 ½” Cloud Cover Cardstock. Die cut with the small rectangle die from the Lovely Arrangements Dies. Use Glue Dots to attach to card front, on top of and in the middle of the flowers.
Tie a bow with the White Baker’s Twine and add to card front with a Glue Dot.
Add three Cloud Cover pearls from the 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls.

Cutting & Scoring:
Secret Sea Cardstock – 8 ½” x 5 ½”, scored and folded at 4 ¼” and 4 ¼” x 2 ½”
Cloud Cover Cardstock – 5 ¼” x 4”, 4” x 2 ½”
Peaceful Garden 12 x 12 Glimmer Paper – 3” x 3” dark blue
Ribbon – 9”
Instructions:
Run the 5 ¼” x 4” Cloud Cover Cardstock through the Peaceful Greenery 3D Embossing Folder.
Attach to the Secret Sea card base.
Stamp the “Peace on Earth” sentiment in Secret Sea ink on the 4” x 2 ½” Cloud Cover Cardstock. Die cut with smaller label die included in the Peace on Earth Dies.
Die cut the 4 ¼” x 2 ½” Secret Sea Cardstock with the largest label die included in the Peace on Earth Dies.
Adhere Cloud Cover stamped label to the Secret Sea label.
Fold the ribbon in half. Place on card front in the center of the card, where the label goes. Hint: I put a small amount of Seal here to hold the ribbon in place.
Attach label to card front, on top of ribbon, with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Die cut the smaller dove with the dark blue 3” x 3” Glimmer Paper.
Attach to card front, as shown above. I put a glue dot on the back of the bird’s body and a Stampin’ Dimensional or two on the wings.
Add three Hues of Blue Flowers.

Cutting & Scoring:
Secret Sea Cardstock – 8 ½” x 5 ½”, scored and folded at 4 ¼”; 4 ½” x 2”, and 4 ¼” x 3 ¼”
Cloud Cover 12 x 12 Two-Tone Cardstock – 5 ¼” x 4”
Basic White Cardstock – 4” x 3” and 5 ¼” x 4”
DSP – Cloud Cover (striped pattern) – 3” x 2 ¾”, Secret Sea (striped pattern) – 3 ¾” x ½”
Instructions:
Run the 5 ¼” x 4” Cloud Cover 12 x 12 Two-Tone Cardstock through the Damask Designs Embossing Folder. Lightly sand surface of the cardstock to reveal the white core.
Adhere this sheet to the Secret Sea card base.
Stamp the “thank you” sentiment in Secret Sea ink on the bottom of the 4” x 3” Basic White Cardstock
Adhere the 3” x 2 ¾” Cloud Cover DSP to the top of the white panel.
With adhesive of choice, glue this piece to the 4 ¼” x 3 ¼” Secret Sea Cardstock. Place all in the center of the card front.
Layer 3 ¾” x ½” piece of Secret Sea DSP over the seam of the white cardstock and the Cloud Cover DSP, as shown above.
Die cut the flower image with the 4 ½” x 2” Secret Sea Cardstock. Add to card front.
Include three Secret Seal gems.
Place 5 ¼” x 4” Basic White panel in the middle of the card.

Don’t miss the Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder. This stunning sunflower design adds a touch of nature to any paper crafting project. And, it lends itself to a variety of techniques. With this card, I showcase Stampin’ Up!’s two-tone cardstock and the sanding technique.
The technique is simple. Add card stock to the embossing folder. Roll it through your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. Remove cardstock from folder. Lightly sand the surface to expose the white center.
Try this technique with other embossing folders and other two-tone cardstock colors. Choose from more than fifty colors.
Sunflower Embossing Folder Birthday Free Tutorial

Instructions:
Emboss the 5 x 3 ¾” Daffodil Delight Two-Tone Cardstock with the Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder.
Lightly sand the embossed paper. The white core will show through. This is the look you want.
Adhere this piece to the Basic Black 5 ¼” x 4” Cardstock.
Wrap the ribbon around this panel and tie a bow.
Heat emboss the birthday sentiment from the Loveliest Tree stamp set with white embossing powder on the Basic Black cardstock scrap.
Die cut with the small label from the Mixed Labels Dies.
With Stampin’ Diimensionals, adhere the sentiment on the card front on the right-hand side as shown in the sample.
Add three black gems from the Neutral Matte Dots.

Instructions:
Attach the Marbled Elegance DSP to card front. Choose the design that favors the Melon Mambo.
Use the second largest heart (the stitched border heart) to die cut a shape from the 4 ¾” x 4 ¾” Melon Mambo card stock. Adhere to center of card front.
Die cut the smallest heart with the 1 ½” x 1 ½” Gold Foil Sheet. Add to card front on the left side of large Melon Mambo heart.
Heat emboss, with gold, the “Just Because I Care” sentiment from the Heart Shaped Bundle on the Melon Mambo scrap. Die cut with the label from the Heart Shaped Bundle die.
Tie Gold Twisted Thread in a bow and add to card front, as shown.
Add three Adhesive-Backed Heart Sequins.
