Leaf Collection Fall Card

Leaf Collection Fall Card

For today’s post, I’m sharing a fall card created with Stampin’ Up!’s Leaf Collection background stamp and the baby wipe technique. Find the Leaf Collection stamp on page 90 of Stampin’ Up!’s Annual Catalog.

Leaf Collection Stamp Set

Here are a few details about this card. Be sure to watch the video below on creating with the baby wipe technique.

  • Cajun Craze card stock 11 x 4 1/4, scored and folded at 5 1/2
  • Very Vanilla measuring 5 1/4 x 4, stamped with the Leaf Collection stamp using the baby wipe technique. See instructions after the product list.
  • Cajun Craze card stock measuring 3 1/4 x 4 1/4
  • Very Vanilla card stock measuring 3 x 4 stamped with Leaf Collection stamp set using the baby wipe technique.
  • Cajun Craze card stock measuring 4 x 3/4
  • Very Vanilla card stock measuring 4 x 1/2 stamped with sentiment from the Choose Happy stamp set
  • Cajun Craze Bakers Twine
  • Rhinestone Basic Jewels

Baby Wipe Technique

  • Layer two baby wipes on top of each other. Be sure to protect your work surface as the ink will bleed. I used my Glass Mat.
  • Drip drops of reinkers onto baby wipes. I used Wild Wheat, Early Espresso, Pretty Peacock, and Cajun Craze.
  • Cover the area. It has to be large to accommodate the large background stamp.
  • Dip the stamp in the baby wipe and then stamp on the Very Vanilla card stock.

For today’s card, I’m using the Changing Leaves Hybrid Embossing Folder Bundle from Stampin’ Up!’s Online Exclusives offering. This stamp set and hybrid embossing folder produce some really awesome images and textures. (The hybrid embossing folder allows you to die cut and dry emboss at the same time.)

A quick note: This bundle has been extremely popular. It’s expected to be back in stock the week of September 2, 2024. Please contact me if you need help ordering or watching the inventory report for it.
