Stampin’ Up!’s Starter Kit: More than a Discount

Kim's Paper Krafters Swap Photo

We’re all lined up to swap our holiday themed cards at a local team meeting in Mesa, Arizona.

When you hear the words Stampin’ Up!, your first thoughts might be: card making, rubber stamps, ink, and paper. But it’s so much more than that. At a recent local, in-person team meeting, I looked around the room. Had it not been for Stampin’ Up!, I wouldn’t know 90 percent of the people in the room. They would not be my friends, and I would not be stamping and chatting with them. So when I hear the words Stampin’ Up!, I also think of fun and friends and community.

What’s In It for You?

Yes, you earn free product when you purchase the Starter Kit. Now through October 31, pay just $99 + tax (shipping is free) and choose $155 worth of any products from the current catalogs and online offerings. Then, receive a 20 percent discount on all of your future paper crafting purchases. (When there isn’t a special, the Starter Kit costs $99 + tax — all shipped free– and you choose $125 worth of product.)

You’re not required to host parties or teach classes. (Unless you want to! I do know you’ll want to share these great products with others.) Just enjoy your discount and other perks such as a Stampin’ Up! private Facebook group, invites to special gatherings, catalog sneak peeks and pre-orders, and more.

But, for many of us, the kit is so much more than saving money on card making supplies. It offers an opportunity to connect and build relationships with people who love the same things as we do: paper crafting and making pretty things with paper. (And, sending them out!)

I lead a team (Kim’s Paper Krafters) of people who live throughout the United States. We connect with each other through my private Facebook group. I host monthly virtual team meetings with a mystery stamping component, present monthly stamping challenges, provide a host of inspiration, offer recognition, and give product-based incentives,

In addition, I offer a local, in-person team meeting each quarter for stampers who live in and around Mesa, Arizona. These fun events always include stamping, sometimes swapping, some snacks, and just a lot of chatter.

Stampin' Up!'s Starter Kit; It's More than a Discount

Most recently, we all got to practice different ways of water coloring. Everyone enjoyed learning new paper crafting techniques and the camaraderie of sharing their experiences.

I know my life has been changed by my Stampin’ Up! experience, and I want the same for you. I’d love to have you join us. Stampin’ Up!’s Starter Kit: More than a Discount!

I’ve really had fun playing with all of the elements in the bundle. It’s perfect for so many reasons. Here ‘s a basic look at how this card goes together:

  • Best Dressed 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper (5 1/4′ x 4′)
  • Mint Macaron Scallop Circle (largest of the group)
  • Stamped sentiments with Memento Ink
  • Whisper White 5 1/4′ x 1 1/4′
  • Blackberry Bliss layer 5 1/4′ x 1 1/2′
  • Stamped shoes with Stamparatus using Hinge-Step Stamping (see sample video here)
  • Stamped additional shoes on Whisper White scraps and die cut
  • Colored shoes with Stampin’ Blends
  • Added sequins for fun!
