Loveliest Tree Card Samples

Loveliest Tree Card Samples

With so many brand-new products to choose from in Stampin’ Up!’s 2024-2025 Annual Catalog, I didn’t know where to start! Trust me, so many sets and bundles caught my eye.

For my monthly card classes this month, I chose the Loveliest Tree Bundle. Why?

  • It’s a great price point at $36 for the stamp set and coordinating dies.
  • The Loveliest Tree stamp set offers just the right sentiments: sympathy, thank you, birthday, and congratulations.
  • It lends itself well to creating masculine cards — or cards for anyone.
  • It’s perfect for using a host of techniques.

Stampin' Up! Loveliest Tree Bundle

Today, I’m sharing three cards we created during the class this last week.

  • Pool Party cardstock base measuring 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4
  • Pool Party cardstock panel measuring 5 1/4 x 4, embossed with the So Swirly Embossing Folder
  • Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper measuring 4 1/2 x 3 1/4
  • Apply watercolor wash with Pool Party ink refill
  • Pool Party die cut circle from Stylish Shapes Dies and label from Something Fancy Dies
  • 2 3/8″ inch circle punch to punch tree from center
  • Iridescent Adhesive Backed Discs

Be sure to watch the video near the end of this post to see how this card comes together. It uses a combination of the spotlight technique and the eclipse technique and a watercolor wash.

Today’s cards combine new products from Stampin’ Up!’s January-June 2021 Mini Catalog with “seasoned” products from our Annual Catalog. I sometimes get caught up purchasing and playing with all of the brand-new goodies, And I forget about the stamps, papers, and tools available all the time.

Be sure to watch the video at the end of the post. A Facebook Live replay, it demonstrates the products and how I created today’s cards. I’d love you to subscribe to my YouTube channel. I add a video each week that demonstrates a different stamping technique or product.

I created a set of cards in Balmy Blue and Daffodil Delight using:

  • Stitched with Whimsy Dies (JJ Mini) — I love the whimsical stitching;
  • Happy Thoughts stamp set (JJ Mini) — I love the variety of sentiments — perfect for creating a gift set;
  • Blending Brushes (JJ Mini) — these help create fun backgrounds;
  • Daisy Lane stamp set (Annual Catalog) — says “spring” and we’re all ready for that;
  • Daisy Punch (Annual Catalog) — a fun and easy coordinating product; and
  • the Stamparatus (Annual Catalog) — a stamp positioning tool helping you create quick and cute projects.

This post features four variations of one design. Do you like the Balmy Blue card base, the Daffodil Delight card base, or the white card base? I’d love to hear from you!
