Greetings of the Season Card Sample
Today, I’m playing with the Greetings of the Season Bundle. The sentiments and die cuts are perfect for creating handmade Christmas cards as well as tags and small gifts.
The card itself features the heat embossing technique and the inlaid embossing technique. Be sure to watch the video below to get tips to create this card at home. Here are some measurements and details to help you get started.
Thick Basic White cardstock base measuring 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4
Basic White cardstock panel measuring 5 1/4 x 4
Gold Foil Sheet measuring 5 1/4 x 1 1/2
Technique: I glued the foil to the Basic White cardstock panel and ran the whole piece through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine using the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder.
I die cut images from the Season of Green & Gold 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper and the Golden Greenery Dies. Can I just say this patterned paper is gorgeous. The 12 x 12 sheets feature greenery and many of the sheets shimmer with gold and gold accents.
Heat embossed the sentiment in gold and die cut with Greetings of the Season Dies.
Embellished with gold Adhesive-Backed Sparkle Gems and the Gold 1/8″ trim.
As a demonstrator, I was able to preorder the Online Exclusive products. I’ve been playing with them for a couple of weeks. Stay tuned to this blog to see some of my other creations during Christmas in July.

It’s now August 1 and I’m sad to say Christmas in July over. But I have one last card for you. It features the tree image from Stampin’ Up!’s Regal Reindeer stamp set and coordinating Reindeer Dies. I also use the sentiment from the Brightest Glow stamp set.
Each month, my team of Kim’s Paper Krafters hosts a challenge. This month, Theresa challenged us to create a card using the below sketch. I created this card for that challenge.

Are you looking for a versatile stamp set and punch bundle? Stampin’ Up!’s Circle Sayings Bundle (page 17 of Stampin’ Up!’s Annual Catalog) offers a great variety of images and sentiments to cover the most common occasions. And, pair it with other images in your stash, and the possibilities are endless.
In today’s post, I continue my Christmas in July series using the Circle Sayings Bundle which includes the Circle Sayings stamp set and teh 2 3/8″ Circle Punch. (Buy them as a bundle and save 10 percent.) The first card includes a sentiment from the Brightest Glow stamp set. And, believe it or not, the sentiments are not heat embossed with gold. They are stamped with Stampin’ Up!’s new In Color, Wild Wheat. I love how Wild Wheat looks like gold; it’s a must-have color for fall and winter crafting.
