Stampin' Up! Changing Leaves Bundle

Card Details

Here are a few details about how I created this card:

  • Very Vanilla Card stock: base measures 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4. Another piece measuring 5 1/4 x 4.
  • Ink refill colors: Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry, Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green
  • Linen Thread
  • Enamel Basic Effects: Copper

Baby Wipe Technique

A brief recap of how to accomplish this technique. Be sure to watch the video below to see how it’s done:

  • Layer two baby wipes on top of each other. Be sure to protect your work surface as the ink will bleed. I used my Glass Mat.
  • Drip drops of reinkers onto baby wipes. I used Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry, Cherry Cobbler, and Garden Green.
  • Cover the baby wipe area. It has to be large to accommodate the large stamp.
  • Press the stamp in the inked baby wipe and then stamp on the Very Vanilla card stock.

Choose Happy Halloween Card

Welcome to the October Stampers Dozen Blog Hop! Thanks so much for joining us! Be sure to visit all of the participating stampers. See the list of links near the bottom of this post.

This month, we feature handmade cards and projects created with the color combination of Black, Gorgeous Grape, and Pumpkin Pie.

To me, these colors say Halloween. I immediately thought of the brand-new Halloween Spells 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper. Find this online as part of Stampin’ Up!’s brand-new scrapbooking release.

See this post for another card that uses this Halloween-themed paper.

I paired this patterned paper with Stampin’ Up!’s Choose Happy Stamp Set. This set contains a variety of words and images geared toward all four seasons.
