Welcome to the Stampers Dozen March Blog Hop! Thanks so much for joining us. This month, we feature handmade greeting cards and projects with a birthday theme. Be sure to visit all of the stampers participating in the hop to get great paper crafting inspiration. Find the list of hoppers at the end of this post.
Where do you gain your paper crafting inspiration? Pinterest? YouTube? Blogs? Magazines? For today’s card, I was inspired by a mystery card created by my team member and friend, Theresa Huffman. At our recent virtual team meeting, she gave us the measurements to create a card similar to the one below. (Scroll down to see the masculine card I created during the event.)
Brilliant Wings Birthday Card
This fun sketch lends itself to a variety of stamp sets, dies, punches, and Designer Series Papers.
If you’re looking for a fun and versatile flower stamp set with a coordinating punch, Stampin’ Up!’s Petal Park Bundle meets and exceeds that expectation. Find it beginning on page 30 of the Stampin’ Up! January-April 2023 Mini Catalog. I’ve been playing with it for a couple of weeks, and I enjoy pairing it with the coordinating Regency Park 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper, as well as additional stamp set sentiments and images.

In this post, I include the finished product of what I’ve been creating in my craft room in Mesa, Arizona, as a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator. The ideas start to flow when I get to playing. I hope you enjoy these and are inspired.
The card featured at the beginning of this post uses a fun fold. The how-to video at the end of this post gives the measurements and provides step-by-step instructions, showing you how I put this handmade greeting card together. This birthday card also uses a sentiment from Stampin’ Up!’s Go To Greetings, the “sprinkles” from the Beautifully Happy stamp set, and Enamel Dot Essentials Embellishments.
Here’s a look at the inside of the card.
I’ve created so many cards with the Regency Park 6 x 6 paper, I have some small pieces (strips left). They’re perfect for use with the card below. I pulled the sentiment from the Fragrant Flowers stamp set.
The flowers in the set work well with Stampin’ Up!’s Picture This Dies. Aren’t they fun in this card below? The Regency Park 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper includes flower images that can be punched with the coordinating Petal Park Builder Punch. I grabbed the sentiment form the Something Fancy stamp set.

During Stampin’ Up!’s SaleABration promotion (through February 28), you can earn nine different items free with minimum purchases. This includes five exclusive stamp sets and four packages of Designer Series Papers.
Today, I’m sharing card samples created with the Dainty Flowers 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper. It offers two each of six, double-sided designs. The coordinating colors include: Blushing Bride, Crushed Curry, Fresh Freesia, Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry, and Starry Sky. Earn it free with a $50 purchase before tax and shipping. I know I need more than one package! In addition, this patterned paper coordinates with the Dainty Delights Bundle found on page 55 of Stampin’ Up!’s January-April 2023 Mini Catalog.
What’s more, this paper is absolutely gorgeous. I feel it’s a paper that doesn’t need a lot of images. Just let the designs do the work for you.
That’s what I’ve done with these handmade greeting cards. The card featured at the top of the post includes a sentiment (from the Shaded Summer stamp set) and some ribbon (Starry Sky 1/8″ Metallic Woven Ribbon). Doesn’t that paper just speak for itself?

Silly Goose Card Samples
As a demonstrator, I got the opportunity to preorder from the new mini catalog. I chose a number of fun things, but the Silly Goose stamp set caught my eye because I have a friend with the last name of Goos, and her birthday is this month. Today, I share a couple of cards I created for the set. Click here to see another post with other samples.
In addition to this fun set, I used the Day at the Farm 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper. Earn it free with a minimum $50 order before tax and shipping during SaleABration. The fun designs go perfectly with the goose images.
One item to note: The Silly Goose stamp set is available in both the clear photopolymer style and the rubber cling style for the same price. When ordering this set (and a handful of others in the new catalog), be sure to watch for these designations in the description. If you’re unsure, please contact me.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog today. I’m so excited about the new catalog and SaleABration. I look forward to sharing many other samles in the coming months.
