Halloween Treat Packet

For my monthly in-person classes in my home in Meza, Arizona, I love to give every participant a treat packet. In September, I created this cute Halloween treat packet using Stampin’ Up!’s Nested Essential Dies, the Mini Alphabet Dies, and some Halloween Dies. No stamping here!

The elongated hexagon-shaped dies reminded me of a coffin, so I created a design that allowed me to include a chocolate treat.

Here’s what the treat packet looks like from the side. It fits a Fun-Size candy bar.

Measurements and Details

Here are a few details to help you make this packet at home:

  • Die cut the largest hexagon shape from the Nested Essentials Dies with Basic Black cardstock.
  • Use the second largest hexagon shape from the Nested Essentials Dies to cut a shape from the Spooky Sweet 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper (grey pattern)
  • Die cut letters using the Mini Alphabet Dies. (I recommend using Adhesive Sheets.)
  • Die cut two bats and one spider from the Spooky Halloween Dies and the Fright Night Dies in Basic Black
  • I added a Black & Gold Ribbon
  • The “kickstand” and candy bar hold measures 1 x 8 and is scored at 4 inches and 5 inches. Be sure to watch the video below to see how this treat packet comes together.

Isn’t this packet super fun? Let me know if you have questions about it or any other stamping project. I’m happy to help.

Easy-Peasy Gift Box

Sometimes you just need a quick little box to package a gift. Today, I show you a quick, easy-peasy gift box that uses one-third of a piece of 12 x 12 patterned paper. That means you can make three boxes from one sheet. The boxes are perfect for small treats such as lip balms, mini candy bars, three Lindt chocolates, and more.

Note: Stampin’ Up! shared the directions for this box during Creativity Now, an online demonstrator event held in June. I loved it so much I just had to share with all of you.

Measurements and Details

  • Paper measuring 11 x 4. For today’s featured card, I used the sunflower pattern from the Blooms Impressions Designer Series Paper. (Hint: This Designer Series Paper is currently 15 percent off as part of Stampin’ Up!’s August 2025 sale on In Color products. Click here to see what’s on sale.) In addition to Designer Series Paper, I experimented with two-tone card and also tried regular card stock.
  • On the 11-inch side, score at 3 inches, 4 inches, 8 inches, and 9 inches. On the 4-inch side score at 1 inch ad 3 inches.
  • Cut on the score lines on the 11-inch side. (Be sure to watch the video below to see how this box comes together.)
  • Adhere small tabs to create box.
  • Embellish any way you like. For this box, I used the Stylish Shapes Dies, a sentiment from Beautiful Motifs, Darling Duckling ink, and Darling Duckling ribbon.

This next sample uses products from Stampin’ Up!’s brand-new Peaceful Garden Suite Collection. It’s available for order beginning September 3 in the September-December 2025 Mini Catalog. Want to get your hands on some of the holiday orders BEFORE September 3? Purchase Stampin’ Up!’s Starter Kit and add holiday catalog items to your kit. Contact me for more information. For this final sample, I grabbed a piece of Petunia Pop two-tone card stock and stamped it with the large flower from the Gallery Blooms stamp set as well as the sentiment from Simply Said and Petunia Pop ribbon.

Easy-Peasy Gift Box

I hope you give these boxes a try. They are so quick and easy and can be made with almost any patterned paper or card stock.

Interactive Spring Treat Box

Interactive Spring Treat Box

Who loves treats? Especially when they come in a cute box! An interactive box, too! Include these in Easter baskets, use on the table for dinner, give to a server as a tip, or share with a friend during a special celebration. I gave these out as party favors for a recent fundraiser kit gathering.

In today’s post, I share the directions for creating an interactive spring treat box. It features the Mixed Florals Photopolymer Stamp Set. Find it online as part of Stampin’ Up!’s Online Exclusives. (Please let me know if you need help finding this stamp set or help in ordering it.)

Mixed Florals Stamp Set

Measurements and Details

  • Card stock of your choice (I used Crumb Cake) measuring 6 x 4 3/4. Score at 1/2, 2 1/2, 3 1/4, and 5 1/4 on the 6-inch side. Score at 4 inches on the 4 3/4-inch side.
  • Stamp tulip image from the Mixed Florals Stamp Set across the long side of the box. I stamped the image twice using the White Craft Ink.
  • Added a sentiment (from a Paper Pumpkin kit) heat embossed in white and die cut with a circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies.
  • Petal Pink 3/8″ Scalloped Ribbon: 16-18 inches
  • Embellishments, if desired. I used the Petal Pink dots from the Low-Profile Dots.

Alphabet A’ La Mode for Halloween

Alphabet A' La

When I hold my monthly in person stamping classes in my home in Mesa, Arizona, I love to give each stamper a fun treat packet.

This month, I created these cute little Boo! treat packets as my gift to them. I used the Alphabet A’ La Mode Dies. The dies let you spell any sentiment you want. And, once upon a time, Stampin’ Up! sold the clear boxes that measure about 3 1/4 x 3 1/4. I found some extras in my stash and decided to create something fun for Halloween. And, I filled them with Reese’s Peanut Butter ghosts!

These DIY treat boxes are perfect for those special trick or treaters, kids, nieces, nephews, and grandkids, too!

If you don’t have access to these clear boxes, the current Scalloped Gift Card Boxes would work, as well.

Alphabet A’ La Mode for Halloween Treat Box

Here are a few details and measurements to help you get started:

  • Alphabet A’ La Mode Dies with Granny Apply Green, Pumpkin Pie, and Gorgeous Grape card stock. Tip: Apply Adhesive Sheets to the back of the card stock before die cutting. I die cut all the pieces and then mixed and matched the letters.
  • Basic Black card stock die cut with circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies.
  • Halloween Spells 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper cut at 3 x 3. (Pieces of the Simply Zinnia Designer Series Paper — the Pumpkin Pie stars and Gorgeous Grape — would work well, too.)
  • Black & Very Vanilla 3/8″ Large Check Ribbon colored with Stampin’ Blends. I used both Gorgeous Grape and Pumpkin Pie.
  • Gems: The Gorgeous Grape gems from the Glossy Dots Assortment work, as do the Granny Apple Green gems from the Iridescent Adhesive-Backed Discs.

I hope you enjoy these cute little Halloween treat boxes. I know my stampers appreciated them this month.
